I have always envisioned my life with motherhood as a key piece. We all have dreams of what our life should be like, and when reality does not match the dream, you need astonishing people like Dr. Jeff Schwersenski. He brought my dream back to reality!

When you get incredible medical care once, you might think that you got lucky. However, when you receive EXCEPTIONAL care twice, you know that this was not luck. It is because there are extraordinary doctors with magnificient staff behind them!!

When Alayna was born prematurely, I thought that I would lose her. She weighed 2 1/2 lbs. and was so tiny. Today, you would never know her stuggles. Alayna reminds me everyday why I so longed to be a mommy.

Kierstyn was born 6 months ago and she was a preemie too. What was amazing is that we had the same medical team. Everyone did everything they could to ensure that our family's needs (medical and emotional) were met.

I am so greatful that the staff at Hillcrest NICU have a passion for their work. What they see as their "job" is what I see as making miracles happen. Alayna and Kierstyn were so blessed to receive their care from these wonderful people.

Thank you for keeping the dream alive!

Here's to motherhood!

Kim
