I don't know too much about you, Dr. Stanton-Hicks…I don't know what you like to do, your hobbies, if you like Italian food or even if you drink coffee every morning.

But I do know that you care deeply about my daughter. You believe her when she says she is hurting. You hear her when she tells you that she wants to make it to her senior prom and that she wants to go to college so she can help kids with disabilites…and you do everything in your power to make her dreams come true.

I do know that while most men your age are enjoying their retirement, you are working crazy hours so you can find ways to help my daughter live her life to the fullest.

Thank-you, Dr. Stanton-Hicks. I pray that God will bless you abundantly more than you could ever hope or dream. He has certainly blessed us by knowing you.

Take care of yourself…we need you.
