Dear Family and Friends,
Who would have thought that a Golden Book would have lead to such a rewarding life? Nurse Nancy was my favorite book as a child ( I still have it!). Her caring and gentle way with nursing skills was an inspiration to me in healing my baby-dolls and favorite stuffed animals.
As time went on, I expanded my skills to care for patients with many different problems. Some I can put a bandage on, others I hold hands with, or sit and listen to. At the end of the day I look back and hope that in some way I helped.
You, my family and friends are "my nurse" at the end of my day. You bandage my soul when things didn't go well. You hold my hand when I feel alone, and you sit and listen to me when I need to talk it out.
I know I don't tell you ofen enough…I love you! You make each new day more wonderful than the one before and I thank you with all my heart.
