When I found out my blood work was abnormal and we didn't know what was going on I was very scared. I found Dr. Milas who has a specialty in endocrine surgery, one of very few doctors in the United States who is familiar with my condition. Dr. Milas isn't just awesome….she is hyper-awesome. She was the one that figured out I had an errant and angry hyperparathyroid gland hiding out in a very peculiar place that was causing me to feel icky. She was extremely professional and kind in explaining to me my treatment and how things would progress afterwards. She even indulged my interest in medicine by explaining in detail all of the special imaging involved with diagnosing my condition and treating it. How cool is this? Now that that errant gland is out to pasture, I am so excited about feeling better again. I can sleep at night comfortably and the pain and creaking from my joints seems to be getting less and less frequent and much quieter every day since my treatment. Dr. Milas, for what it's worth, you are *the most* spectacular doctor I have ever worked with. You've changed my life for the better and with each tomorrow I can get a better night's sleep because of your work. Thank you!

All the best to you!

Dr. Milas is a wonderful doctor. She is very kind and always willing to take a moment to stop and answer a question or just say hello. We're lucky to have her.
