Late in August 2001 I was diagnosed with a giant cranial aneurysm discovered by my Opthalmologist in Vero Beach, Fl. She ordered an MRI that confirmed her suspicions. My husband had a surgery at Cleveland Clinic , Cleveland, Ohio yrs prior, so we contacted Dr. Howard Levine and he assured us he would link us to the best in Cleveland Clinic. Within minutes the office of Dr. Marc Mayberg phoned and an appt. was made. After the initial exam with him and staff the surgery was booked. Never in my life have I had such wonderful, kind and caring staff. There was never a question not answered without unsurpassed knowledge and with prompt attention. Dr. Mayberg, Dr. Rasmussen and Dr. Kowalski along with a team that was outstanding and for me paramount results. My chances of survival were 50-50 and when it was all done there were some surpises for my surgeon. I had a gigantic aneurysm with another one under it and a blood clot fused to the skull. My hospital time was minimal and the recovery rate was short, considering all that occured. During all the time, tests, and surgery involved, I have experienced such confidence with Dr. Mayberg, staff and all of Cleveland Clinic. They are the best without a doubt.
Keep up the excellent works!
Thank you all once again for saving my life!
Sincerely,
Anita
