I am 35 years old and last year at this time I didn't think I was going to see my 35th Birthday. I never gave up hope though and I never took one single day of my life for granted.

I wasn't able to do a whole lot basically all my life but especially over the last 5 years or so. I couldn't work or do the simple things in life that everyone takes for granted or complains about like grocery shopping or laundry.

My life changed for the better after I received a miracle on November 3, 2006. That is the day I received my heart and double lung transplant. Now, just 7 short months later, I am back to work part-time, I'm riding bike, traveling, and planning a wonderful vacation for next year.

So, for every one of you wonderful people still waiting I say this to you: I've been in your shoes and believe me you will get your miracle too. Just have faith and keep a smile on your face and in your heart even when you don't feel like smiling. God Bless you All!
