I'm Elias and I'm 3 years old. Fives months ago I was diagnosed with Histiocytosis. I had a painful tumor in my head that ate my skull near my eye. My mommy and daddy were really scared that I had cancer in my brain. Histiocytosis is a lot like cancer. I am getting chemotherapy and I have to take steroids that make me act crazy to get rid of this YUCKY disease. Sometimes I feel scared.

Before I got sick, I use to play with a lot of kids. Now I have to be careful that I don't get sick so I don't play with other kids too much. My mommy says we have to keep those nasty germs away until I'm all better. I just want to play.!! Soon I will be finished with chemotherapy and I hope that my body gets stronger and will never be sick like this again. I just want those big people in the wite coat to fix me so I can be a normal kid again.. That's what I miss the most.
