Sarah Lasenby's Letter

Children everywhere.,

I have been thinking about you for years as I have seen you in your buggies and then growing older. I am sad that the world you grow up in will not be as healthy as ours. We are in our 80s and don't have grandchildren. so I worry about all of you.
I am sad when present politicians believe that things will be OK as technology will find a way to let us continue in the reckless manner using fossil fuels and yet reducing greenhouse gasses. Don't believe them.
I know that we will need to live a simpler life. Very much reducing the use of fossil fuels. Cycling when we can and using public transport as much as possible. Make sure our homes as insulated and where possible put solar panels on our roofs. I am sure you can think of many more ways to change things and save the planet.
