Bess's Letter

Emily,

I have just been listening and dancing to "Emily Smiles" by the Lightening Seeds. I want you to keep smiling not if you are sad but when it feels good. I will be walking on Sunday with others to point out the stupidity of cutting down trees to enlarge a factory. Which is more important the trees or the factory? The factory is only temporary and it uses plastic for its goods. How can they be the best thing to do? Yet the trees offer shelter, nutrients, work with the earth and help the problems with carbon. You can play among the trees. They are for the future and your future to keep you smiling. I go for the trees every time. I know you care and so do I.
