To my children Lyra and Arno,

My dearest children,

Did I do enough ?
I am hoping that I did.
Our planet, yours too.

Our planet needs us!
Seasons change - unbearable
For all that live here

Did we do enough ?
Lives of excess that we have.
Easy not to see

Our planet cries now,
Floods, droughts, winds, sun - climate change…
Our consequences

Did I do enough?
Did I educate you too?
Show you the way through ?

Our planet.
Beauty for us all to share.
Damaged beyond help

I hope not.
