Bethany's Letter

To my future self,

I hope our blue and green planet hasn’t changed for the worst. I still think there is a chance to save it, but whether or not that’s happened, only time will tell. I always felt like a hypocrite caring about climate change and then doing the very things to continue it; hopefully habits have changed for the sake of our survival. We have to adapt.
I think because I’m of the generation growing up with climate change, I’ve always held onto anger at everyone older for starting it and then seemingly not doing enough to stop it. But now I realise for a long time they couldn’t have known, and we’re all responsible.
So I hope people have managed to unite for this, our continued survival. It’s probably a long shot, but hope may be what saves us.
