Christine Adams's Letter

To my grandchildren,

Hi both,
I look at you now full of teenage preoccupation and innocence. Your lives are unfurling and full of anticipation for the future. I hope to be around in 10 years to see you develop but am full of concern which I hold in. What I want to see happen is for lots of people to come together and demand change in major institutions so much so they can no longer be ignored which is what is happening now. I wish you good health ,strength of character to fight for security which you will need. Don't give in ,as you will have to fight for a world we have taken for granted. We didn't know how lucky were. We just accepted that the world would support us as always. Your world and your children's world will be very different. I'm fighting now for you to have and keep living in a world that is stable.
