Cliff Griffin's Letter

My Grand children - Annaliese, Louisa, Chloe, Jane,

Dear lovely girls,
When your parents were your age, I used to worry about if they would have a world a as nuclear weapons were being introduced.
Now, I am writing to you to apologise that we have destroyed your world, not by weapons of war, which so far we are controlling our use of, but by our own short sightedness and selfishness. Every tree chopped down, every plane taking off, every plastic bottle carelessly thrown down by folk during my lifetime have damaged your world, making it less than God intended.

I am very sorry.

Love,
Grandad
