Fi O’Connor's Letter

To my Year One students ,

Dear Plastic Action Heroes

I am so sorry that the world you are growing up into has been marred by the folly and greed of a few. I have protested, marched, bought less, upcycled, re used, been a member of climate action groups and talked about the damage humans are doing to their home for forty years now.
A massive and radical change in the way we live on this planet is coming and you’re the ones who will drive it.
I’m so proud of your energy and determination to look after the flora and fauna you see around you. Live well, young heroes and I hope that you can bring many many others of your generation along on your journey to heal nature
Love from your teacher, Ms Fi
