Jane's Letter

To my Grandson, Rupert,

I feel it’s all our responsibility to slow down the effects of climate change so you, Rupert, can have a future where you can enjoy this wonderful planet and your children and children’s children can also enjoy the beauty of it all.
There was a time when I was young when the four seasons were predictable but now there seems to be extremes of weather which cause so much harm to wildlife and people all over the world.
I also remember a time when there were plenty of insects, meadow flowers and woodlands which were carpeted with wildflowers of such a variety you wouldn’t believe!
I hope, Rupert, that we can preserve what we have now and that we can work with governments all over the world to slow down climate change and the devastating effects it has.
There’s definitely hope, and we can all do something about it!

From your Granny xx
