John Blakely's Letter

To my grandchildren ,

Dear Grandchildren,

I am so worried about the kind of world you will be living in when you are 75 like me. I hope you know that I have done what I could to avert a catastrophe. This has included changing my own behaviour (probably not enough) and taking part in demonstrations to try to get governments to understand that this issue is more important than all others, and in fact lies behind all the other problems that governments face.
I am deeply concerned that the current direction of travel is wrong, and that the right to protest is under serious threat. I will do all I can to shout loudly till we are listened to and action is taken. Please have the courage to do the same, for the sake of the creation that God loves, and that your children will inherit.
