Mandie's Letter
To my great grandchildren (not yet born),
I wish you happiness and the freedom to love and appreciate the beauty of nature. The chance to walk the hills, swim in the oceans and rivers, play outside in the fresh air. My generation is in climate crisis because of the massive damage human beings have done to the planet. Governments and world leaders procrastinate and bury their heads in the sand instead of tackling the problem head on. We are at a pivotal moment and I hope that we choose the right path so that your generation has a viable world to live in and enjoy.
