Norman Webber's Letter

To my grandson, Brodie,

I hope that when you are old enough to vote you'll be able to see birds like swallows and house martins return to this part of England.
For the last four years they have either not built a home in our roof space (house martins) or have not been seen flying round our house: both birds. Yet the years seem gradually to get warmer.
I hope you will help to change that.
All the best,
Grandad
