Roz Chandler's Letter

My lovely daughters Emily and Holly and their future generations,

I am so sorry that our generation didn't take care for the planet you now live in.
Having studied Environmental Science in the early 80s , we knew then what would happen and still nothing was done.
We have one precious resource which we have undoubtedly caused harm and suffering to.
There is still time to change things - but we all need to act fast.
Each one of us can do something today that will help save the planet for future generations.
I hope on my lifetime i have played my part by reducing the air miles of flowers into the UK. I have tried so hard to encourage everyone to grow their own blooms whether for pleasure of profit and stop the imports from many thousands of miles.
Growing without herbicides and pesticides and not using floral foam are only the beginnings. Creating wild habitats and places for creatures to flourish is another one.
We can all do this.
I just want to say to you maybe my voice wasn't strong enough.
Your ever loving Mummy xx
