Sue's Letter

To my grandchildren and great granddaughter ,

I hope we have done the things we promised to try to prevent a catastrophic climate and ecological disaster.
I used to love going out on the moors and cliffs, seeing the beautiful countryside and counting caterpillars! If we haven't started to make the big changes necessary then, I fear, you will not see Puffins and Marsh Fritillaries and Red Squirrels any more. Worldwide I hate to think what will happen to biodiversity. I hope we have stopped the tide of plastic pollution and chemical sprays on our farmland. We knew what we were doing was wrong and many of us tried our hardest to raise awareness and made changes to our lifestyles. It wasn't hard, it made sense, but did we convince the media and people in power?
