Suzanne Ager's Letter

To future generations,

Most days I find myself living with feelings of repressed sadness and rage at the inaction and dismissive attitude of our politicians and those people with the power to make real and lasting changes for the positive.

We live in a time where we are seeing the repercussions of decades of failing to take the importance of the natural world seriously, bad things are already happening. I still hope we can turn things around, that future generations can experience they joy of being outside in green spaces and feel the fascination and wonder in seeing some of the worlds diverse and amazing wildlife. These are the things that make life worth living.

I try to do small things to help in the hope these will make a collective difference, but what we really need is the main powers to listen, take notice and most importantly, act, so that you don't inherit a miserable, concrete clad, dystopian future. Should the future I fear come to pass I am truly sorry.
