Terry Brough's Letter

To my great granddaughter, Amelia and the great grandchildren I may not meet in life and to all children, everywhere,,

I love you all, always. Our planet is probably the finest environment imaginable, for us to inhabit. As such it deserves our full care and attention. Nothing, precipitated by human activity of any kind, should be allowed to cause it harm. I wish I could say that this was how my generation looked after our home in order that it's preserved for your enjoyment ... but I can't. There were/are many honourable exceptions to this wanton crime ... those who warned about and campaigned against the egregious damage capitalism has done and continues to do to our planet. I sincerely hope that the planet I leave to you all, fills you with the happiness and wonder that it's given me. Love, Peace and Socialism xxxx
