Vedaash Mahajan's Letter

Dear future self,,

What is life for you like right now?
I fear you are living in a world where there is lot of issued of climate crisis. I would specifically talk about the survival of humans and wild animals.
Are most of the animals extinct now?

There are a lot of reasons for extinction of animals. Some of the major reasons are:

 Drought
 Storms
 Heat Waves
 Humans
 Rising sea levels
 Warming oceans
 Global warming
 Melting glaciers

Hopefully there is no major damage because of these reasons to the animals. The impacts of climate change will increase in all regions and for 1.5 degrees Celsius of global warming, there will be increasing heat waves, longer warm seasons and shorter cold seasons while at 2 degrees Celsius of global warming, heat extremes would more often reach critical tolerance thresholds for agriculture and health. Hopefully some of the steps such as the installation of 450 gigawatts of renewable energy among the measures have been taken by the government to tackle climate change.
